About Adam Computers
Adam Computers started in Abbeville, on Hwy. 28 Bypass in October of 2006. After doing computer repair and sales, web design, and network administration as a side job for over 7 years, Arlan Riehl decided to work in the IT industry full time. There seemed to be a need in Abbeville and surrounding counties for a full-time IT professional. Everybody knows somebody who "knows computers".... but there seems to always be a need for full-time professionals, with a retail location and focus on customer service and tech support.
Even though Adam Computers is still in its infancy, we pledge to serve you to the best of our ability. Focusing on practical solutions for a complicated industry is what we do best. Just because technology can be complicated, doesn't mean every solution has to be complicated. Simple things like speaking your language fluently without a bad accent, answering the phone without a complicated menu tree, and not putting you on hold for hours, are things that come to the mind first. We do more.....things like understanding new developments so we know what to recommend, because new isn't always better. Things like giving practical advice that you don't need a degree to understand. In a nutshell, our goal is this: Answers now. In English.
